You may be wondering…
Do iLOQ connected locks need batteries?
No. The energy needed to open the lock comes from the smartphone (NFC), the fob or the key at the moment of opening. No batteries to replace, no cabling.
What happens if a key or phone is lost?
The access rights of the lost key or phone are blocked remotely from iLOQ Manager. No need to change the locks.
Can existing doors and cabinets be fitted?
Yes. iLOQ cylinders and padlocks come in standard sizes and replace your current cylinders without building work.
What about users without a smartphone?
They receive a Key Fob (NFC fob) or an iLOQ S5 key. The fob can be updated remotely.
Can S5 and S50 be combined?
Yes. The iLOQ S5 key is compatible with S50 locks, so keys and smartphones can coexist on the same site.
Which countries do you cover?
We operate in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco, and are expanding into Spain, Portugal, Italy and Algeria. The United Kingdom is planned for 2027.
